We're developing the next generation of AI models that analyze medical images to provide precise insights into current and future heart health.

We're looking for a brilliant, curious, and driven AI Research Intern to help advance our deep learning research and model development. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in foundational AI research and build models that can help millions live longer, healthier lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on cutting-edge medical imaging and AI research, identifying key innovations to inspire model design.
• Design, build, and train state-of-the-art computer vision models (e.g., CNNs, Vision Transformers, or hybrid architectures) for cardiovascular image analysis.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team and domain experts to translate research breakthroughs into production-ready, real-world models.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics). We prioritize your ability to learn quickly and think from first principles over your specific major.
• Demonstrated experience in building and training deep learning models for computer vision or related tasks.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement academic research into practical experiments.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and eager to take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
