Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the US and worldwide, claiming more lives than all forms of cancers combined. It remains so despite the fact that over 80% of case are preventable.

At Veevo Health, we want to prevent heart disease altogether. We're building an empathetic, human-centered platform that turns complex health data into clear, actionable insights, empowering people to protect their heart and lead healthy, youthful lives into their 90s and beyond with confidence in their heart health.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of our mobile app using either SwiftUI or React Native.
• Build and scale the backend services for our mobile app using Node.js.
• Work on new features, from data input to visualizing health insights.
• Collaborate with the team to create a polished and user-friendly product.

Qualifications

• A student in Computer Science or related technical field with a drive to build real-world solutions.
• Hands-on experience building mobile apps (SwiftUI or React Native) and backend systems.
• Self-motivated individual who takes ownership and drives projects forward independently.
• Familiarity with modern development tools (Express, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems that impact people's lives.
